Balance Beam

Inspired by the Montessori lesson of 'Walking the Line', the purpose is to help children develop balance and control the movement of their bodies. This activity, sometimes accompanied by a song, also helps a child's cognitive development through the use of concentration.

At 2.4 metres long - our PEFC-certified* wooden balance beams are designed for your little ones development of gross motor skills, vestibular system, imagination, freedom, physical strength, enjoyment and confidence.

Our balance beams interlock for hours of interesting open-ended free-play, allowing children to use their imagination. They can both build the beams, by placing pieces on top of one another, and use the item for physical activities too.
